Thanksgiving Day, an annual national holiday in the United States and Canada,  celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. This year, it is also a day for selecting the next committee members of the alumni association of GMBA.

The Thanksgiving Day dinner this year was held on 25th November, 2023. Around 50 participants, both GMBAers and EMBAers, gather together to update their life and meet new friends with newcomers of the latest batch R12. Dinner started with the speech of Edward, the previous president of the Alumni Association, and the recent report of the association. Then followed by the speech of Prof Shing-yang Hu, Dean of the College of Management. After the introduction, Edward explained the purpose of the day, electing the next committee members of the alumni association and asking everyone to vote while enjoying the meals. After that, the votes were counted, and new committee members were welcomed and the new president was asked to make a word. Everyone was looking forward to the upcoming alumni activities. This was really a great opportunity to hang out and catch up. And also a big thanks to Director Audrey Hsu, who is always supportive to students and alumni activities, making us stronger and more united.
