【GMBA】R13 Mentee Gathering with Director Bryan

On a memorable evening, GMBA Director Bryan hosted a gathering for 50 international and local new students at Baxian Grill (八仙碳烤)  near Daan Park. The well-coordinated event allowed students and faculty to connect on a deeper level in a relaxed rooftop setting, creating a comfortable and engaging atmosphere.

The event aimed to foster open discussions, allowing Director Bryan to learn more about new students’ daily challenges, feedback on courses, management, and teaching quality. Students appreciated the opportunity to interact directly with the director and share their thoughts and suggestions in an informal setting.

The evening featured a diverse spread of Taiwanese cuisine tailored to students’ dietary preferences, including dishes like stinky tofu, BBQ beef, fried rice, grilled chicken, asparagus, and clams, paired with the iconic Taiwan beer. Special accommodations were made for students with specific dietary restrictions, ensuring everyone could enjoy the meal. Throughout the evening, students and faculty bonded over discussions about life, culture, music, and other interests, achieving the event’s goal of fostering unity and understanding within the GMBA community. The night concluded with a group photo symbolizing the unity and friendships built during the gathering.

This event successfully helped new GMBA students get to know the classmates and faculty, breaking the ice and encouraging greater participation in future events.
