Global Flavors & Friendships: R14 GMBA Hosts Vibrant Cultural Exchange

The GMBA Lounge transformed into a hub of global flavors and friendship on Sunday, May 24, as the R14 cohort hosted its highly anticipated Cultural Exchange Event. Designed as a pre-finals gathering, the event offered approximately 30 students a much-needed opportunity to unwind, connect, and celebrate the rich diversity of their class before entering the intensive exam period.

The highlight of the event was the incredible variety of authentic cuisines brought by the students. Participants from Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia generously shared traditional dishes and stories, offering their classmates a true taste of their home cultures. The lively lunchtime gathering was filled with warm conversations, laughter, and a strong sense of community.

“The event turned out to be a massive success,” said Thomas, one of the student organizers. “The atmosphere was incredibly warm and fun. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the chance to relax together, and many students expressed hope that we can organize more events like this in the future.”
