2026 Fall NTU CoM Exchange Student Registration & Orientation
The 2026 Fall NTU College of Management registration and orientation, held by the Buddy Program, successfully ended on September 2nd, and the whole process was both enjoyable and fulfilling.
The first part was registration. There were many documents to prepare beforehand, and I was initially worried that things might get chaotic on the day. Fortunately, the program coordinator offered a great deal of support in every aspect, and the Buddies were also very enthusiastic and helpful. Through teamwork, we worked efficiently from the rehearsal onward. Even though nearly all the international students arrived at the same time on the registration day, everyone still handled things very well, which gave me a real sense of reassurance.
Next came the orientation. It began with warm welcome remarks from the Associate Dean of International Affairs, Professor Bryan Jean. Everyone then listened attentively as the hosts introduced life in the CoM, and actively took part in the activities, which pleasantly surprised us. The icebreaker consisted of three parts. The first two were a Taiwanese sound-effect guessing game and an idiom-guessing game based on pictures. We were initially worried the questions might be too difficult for the international students, but the atmosphere turned out to be lively, with everyone eager to answer! The last activity was a bubble tea mixing session, for which we prepared black tea, creamer, sugar packets, and pudding in advance, letting the international students mix their own drinks and experience Taiwanese culture. At the end, we split into groups to take the international students on a campus tour. Seeing them laughing and chatting along the way made all the earlier preparation feel worthwhile.
Overall, serving as a Buddy taught me the importance of teamwork and adaptability, while also giving me opportunities for cross-cultural exchange. It was truly a memorable and rewarding experience.
