The NTU College of Management’s Student Exchange Program aims to promote academic and cultural exchanges between NTU CoM and its partner schools. The Student Exchange Program application information session on October 6, 2022, provided students with an insight into the program and the application procedures to help students prepare for the program. The event started with an opening remark from the College of Management Student Exchange Program coordinator, Ms. Cola Sung. The students who came back from the exchange program last year also shared their experiences during their time abroad.

Yong-Yu Chen, a fifth-year Finance major, shared about her time at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she took interesting courses and made friends with locals and other international students. Other than that, she also talked about the beautiful places to visit there and encouraged other students to join the Student Exchange Program.

Zhe-Rong Hsu, a fifth-year Information Management major, shared his experience as an exchange student at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He shared about the cultural differences between Taiwan and Belgium. Zhe-Rong also talked more about student life there.

The main info session then proceeded where Ms. Sung explained about the eligibility and application procedures for the Student Exchange Program. She also introduced the new partner schools that students can apply to. Students were encouraged to ask any questions they might have regarding the Student Exchange Program. The event was wrapped up with a closing statement and a wish of good luck.

The Student Exchange Program not only fosters good relationships with partner schools but also gives students the opportunity to study in another country and deeply engage with a new culture. The College of Management looks forward to seeing more students applying for the program and experiencing intercultural learning.
