【GMBA】2026 GMBA Graduation: Embracing the Future of Business

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the Sun Great International Conference Hall and Heng-Li Sinology Hall buzzed with anticipation as graduates, faculty, and guests gathered to celebrate the culmination of the Global MBA program. The ceremony was not just a recognition of academic achievement, but a moment to reflect on shared experiences and look toward a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Dean Chialin Chen commenced the ceremony with welcoming remarks, congratulating the graduating class and acknowledging the immense dedication required to reach this milestone. He also noted that this was a particularly opportune time to graduate, with the business world on the cusp of transformative change. Director Bryan Jean then shifted the focus forward, emphasizing our readiness as business professionals. He reminded the cohort that graduation was not an ending, but the beginning of everything that lies ahead. Highlighting the approaching wave of Artificial Intelligence, he challenged us to leverage our education to navigate and lead in this new era of technological disruption.

This theme was brought to life by guest speaker George Yi (易錦良), CEO of Skytech and a schoolmate at junior high school and also at NTU of Dean Chialin. Mr. Yi delivered a motivating keynote detailing his own journey from starting out as an engineer to ultimately becoming a CEO. Building on Director Jean’s remarks, he offered practical insights into the impact of AI, grounding our classroom theories in the realities of the modern tech sector.

The ceremony also celebrated the bonds formed during the program. Student Council President Jenny Wu delivered a heartfelt reflection on behalf of the cohort, capturing the true essence of the GMBA experience. She reminisced about our shared challenges—the relentless fight against looming deadlines, high-pressure group presentations, and countless hours of collaboration—reminding us that the true value of our journey lies in our shared resilience and lifelong connections.

Ultimately, graduation was a fitting conclusion to our time in the program. From the visionary guidance of our faculty and George Yi’s industry perspectives to Jenny Wu’s relatable reflections, the event encapsulated our entire experience. We leave the university not only with mastery of business principles but with a shared history, ready to step into the future as leaders in an AI-driven world.
